Dr. Nidal Ahmad Asaad Dr. Nidal Asaad is the CEO, Medical Director and Head of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Heart Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha, Qatar. He is Associated professor in medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He did his post graduate training in Internal Medicine, Cardiology from the University of Toronto. Dr. Asaad has dual certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology from the University of Toronto and university of Ottawa Heart Institute. He was nominated for the international Scholarship Award in Cardiac Electrophysiology from the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in 2004. He obtained the Canadian Royal College Certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He is a fellow of the Royal College of the Physicians of Canada Dr. Asaad’s research interests span a broad range in Cardiology, which includes more than 100 publications. He is an active member of the Cardiovascular Research Community in the Gulf. He chaired and lectured at several Regional and International Conferences.
